One of my favorites!
This little gem of a hotel has been a go to of ours since we became pass holders in 2010.
Let’s take a look at why it’s so great.

Who to Book Your Trip With
I recommend booking with Get Away Today.
Park reservations, crowd calendars, dining reservations, MagicBand+, changes since Covid, etc etc all require a decent amount of familiarity to get it right.
I can help you with many parts of planning, but I recommend booking your trip with an experienced agent who can handle some of these things for you and advise on all of them.
Click here to book Stovall’s Inn directly with discounts. Or call 855.GET.AWAY. Use code DDaily to save an additional $10 if you book hotel and tickets.

Basic Scoop
This hotel is a quick walk to Disneyland from the Katella side – not Harbor Blvd.
Katella intersects with West (also called Disneyland Drive), and Stovall’s Inn is just off the corner.
It’s a comfortable stay near the parks and I love the grounds of this hotel. They also have free breakfast!
More info:
- Breakfast is from 6-9am (grab a quick bite at opening and then hustle to security to get ready for rope drop!)
- There are two pools and they’re open from 9am-10pm
- Fitness Center, near the pool, is open from 6:30am to 10pm
- Find 24 hour free coffee in the lobby
- Grab Scan and Go Market, located in the lobby, is open 24 hours (you can purchase snacks and drinks, park gear, etc)

How to Get to Disneyland
Walk out the main lobby doors and take a right on Katella.
At the light, take a left onto Disneyland Way.
Continue on walking and watch for DCA on your right.
Follow the signs toward the Disneyland Hotel. Before you get to it, you’ll see the Downtown Disney main entrance with security. Go through it, and through Downtown until you arrive at the esplanade, which is the area between Disneyland and California Adventure.
From hotel to the security checkpoint is about 15 minutes.
Here’s a map:

And here’s the walk to the parks:

Note: I think this property is close enough to walk, but if you wish, you can pay for the ART Shuttle and pick it up right outside the hotel. Bus #9, Katella route. This will take you to the main drop off for transportation on Harbor Blvd.
Why I Like Staying Here
Tucked away near the corner of Katella and Disneyland Drive, this is my choice if I want a close hotel with free breakfast.
This is a Best Western property and run by the nicest people. Love their breakfast burritos and convenient grab and go options that I often take to snack on in line if I can’t eat on site like pastries, whole fruit and more.
The adorable sculptured gardens next to the pools and around the property make this more budget friendly hotel feel charming and fun.
I love its location – away from the chaos of Harbor Blvd (especially in the morning at security!).
You can also see fireworks from the second floor and third floors! We have loved standing in our jammies watching and then rushing kids off to bed for the next day’s adventures.

I love that they have ingredients to build breakfast tacos and breakfast burritos.

Tip: Request a third floor room for the best fireworks views.

Note: This most recent stay was hosted by the hotel, but I’ve stayed here for almost 15 years and have had great experiences. The location is close and the price is right!

This is our go-to for off property hotels too. Great breakfast and views, super clean, friendly staff, easy walk, and near our favorite Italian restaurant, Marri’s!
Yes! Such a great hotel. Love Marri’s too.
weve been staying at this property since 2010. great place staff, food, kids always enjoy the pool. We will be there at end August 2025.
Same! Since 2010 for me too. It’s better than ever! Y’all enjoy.
