Tropicana Inn & Suites

Updated October 13, 2023

I have a new favorite off-site hotel!

Tropicana Inn & Suites is literally across the street from the main entrance of Disneyland. You see this description thrown around a lot with off-site hotels. This one actually is across the street.

Rooms are newly refurbished, clean, spacious, and totally affordable.

Let’s look at some more details.

Hotel Details

Tropicana Inn & Suites has rooms and suites to fit any size party.

In each room, you’ll find:

  • safe
  • microwave
  • refrigerator
  • coffee maker

Parking is $15/day.

The pool is lovely! Check it out:

The Cove on Harbor

This hotel does not include breakfast.

The Cove on Harbor is a market/coffee hours at the hotel that sells many food options, park gear, basic traveling necessities, etc, etc.

It’s open from 6:00am to 1:00am.

Many guests seek out hotels with free breakfast. While this is a nice perk for your stay, I would only encourage you to take advantage of it on a non-park day. If you’re headed to the park, you wouldn’t have time to sit and dine, anyway, as you should be through security and lined up at the gate an hour prior to official park opening.

I recommend packing your own breakfast (granola bars, fruit, etc) to eat in your room or on your walk to the park. Then, break around 10:00am to sit down and dine in Disneyland or California Adventure – wherever you’re headed.

I share more on how to structure your day here.

What I Like About This Hotel

The location is awesome and hard to beat.

The rooms were refurbished in 2019 and have great features. The photos, above, show many of them.

The beds are comfy! Love the chair that expands into a smaller bed, too.

The price is right.
