Anaheim Westin Review

Updated May 9, 2026

I’ve found my favorite!

The Anaheim Westin hotel includes so many perks that I think will appeal to many guests visiting Disneyland.

Let’s take a look at all this resort has to offer. There’s more than 40 photos in this post!

Before We Get Started

If you’re planning a Disneyland trip, start with this post. It covers everything you need to know.

Why this Resort Stands Out

For me, it’s the details. The bed is amazing. The service is excellent. There’s plenty of dining on site. The walk is short.

This is the new, nicest hotel at the Disneyland Resort.

Basic Scoop

This AAA Four Diamond hotel is gorgeous, start to finish. The drive in sets the stage for what’s ahead and it just continues to get better from there.

Located just behind California Adventure, it’s walkable to Disneyland and packed with amenities.

Amenities

  • The oh so fabulous Heavenly beds
  • Rooms that sleep up to 4
  • Westin WORKOUT (a bougie gym)
  • Rise Rooftop Lounge – fantastic views of DCA and beyond; opens at 5pm; stay for fireworks!
  • Tangerine Restaurant
  • Bella Splash Pool Bar
  • Blossom Market (my favorite!) – try the avocado toast and seasonal macaron
  • Puesto Restaurant (also amazing!) – fabulous tacos
  • Flemings Restaurant (always top notch) – the very best service, as always
  • Bar 1030

The View and Balcony

I’ve stayed twice at this hotel and really enjoyed my most recent visit due to the view.

How to Get to Disneyland

This walk will take you about 15 minutes.

Walk out of the main lobby doors and take a left on Katella.

At the light, take a right onto Disneyland Way. Continue on walking and watch for DCA on your right.

When you get to the Grand Californian Hotel, cross the street and head toward the Disneyland Hotel. Before you get to it, you’ll see the Downtown Disney main entrance with security. Go through it, and through Downtown until you arrive at the esplanade, which is the area between Disneyland and California Adventure.

Note: The Grand Californian has recently tightened their security at its checkpoint, so know this isn’t a guaranteed walk through option. But, sometimes you can get lucky.

Here’s a map of the walk:

Dining Tips

Every restaurant on site is good. I’ve tried them all.

Rise Rooftop Bar

Rise Rooftop Bar is great for a drink and food after the parks. With amazing views!

Their Social Hour Specials from 5:30-7pm are excellent values. Here’s a quick reel showing what this bar looks like.

This huge plate of delicious California rolls is only $20:

Bar 1030 (lobby bar)

Bar 1030 is my favorite for a meal between park visits. I order from the kids menu at the bar and it’s wrapped up to take to my room is about 15 minutes.

The $10 Angus Burger and $12 Turkey Grilled Cheese Sandwich were fantastic! Such great values. Here’s the menu:

I was so hungry that I forgot to get a photo of the kids burger. Here is half of the Turkey Grilled Cheese. The photo isn’t good but the meal is:

My son loved the Ahi Ceciche Tostada, also from Bar 1030:
