Pixar Fest is here and it’s lots of fun!
Let’s take a look at all that’s ahead.
Basic Scoop
Pixar Fest is a festival that takes place at the Disneyland Resort from April 26, 2024 to August 4, 2024.
This celebration is included in your theme park admission ticket cost.
The festival takes place at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
Essentially, it includes the return of Together Forever fireworks at Disneyland, the debut of daytime parade “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” at DCA, Pixar characters, Pixar themed food and merch, etc.

Together Forever Fireworks
This is a Pixar Nighttime Spectacular (fireworks) returns to Disneyland Park.
It includes some all-new scenes featuring Pixar’s “Onward,” “Soul” and more!

Watch by “it’s a small world” for some hidden gems in the fireworks projections. This is my favorite place to view!
Most days, this show runs at 9:30pm.
“Better Together – a Pixar Pals Celebration”
This is a new daytime parade at Disney California Adventure Park.
Look for more than 2 dozen characters including Red Panda Mei and Joe Gardner. Classics too!

Most days, you’ll see this parade at 4:00pm and 6:30pm.

Pixar Pals Playtime Party
Per Disney, “Guests of all ages can dance and play at the Pixar Pals Playtime Party in Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park with a high-energy show, interactive games and other activities.”
Wade and Amber will be there! Luca and Alberto, too. Dug will make an appearance as well.
Visit this immersive Pixar Fest experience in the afternoon when wait times are at their highest. Look for a dance party, photo ops, characters, crafts, themed foods, and more. Start your day knocking out attractions and then enjoy your afternoon with all things Pixar!
Note: Fantasyland Theatre is the big theater in the back of the park near Toontown. It’s not in Fantasy Faire where you meet the princesses.
This runs from 11:30am-5:30pm each day.
Club Pixar at the Hollywood Backlot in DCA
Disney shares, “During the day at the Hollywood Backlot, you can snap a photo in front of Pixar-themed backdrops, play games and maybe even encounter a favorite character to pose with.
When day turns to night, Club Pixar will take over the area for a nighttime party, inspired by the amazing stories from Pixar Animation Studios.“

It’s included the cost of admission.
It’s open from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
Characters
Pixar characters will be out! Look for friends from Inside Out, The Incredibles, and more.
Ember and Wade from Elemental will be there!
Classics too.
Mr. and Mrs. Incredible will be seeing guests during the day at the Hollywood Backlot in DCA. They’ll be in their retro super suits.
Meilin and Ming Lee can be found in Grizzly Peak.
Dug was an absolute joy to meet. Find him in front of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at DCA. He speaks!!!!!

Pixar Themed Food and Beverage
There will be food. Count on it!
Here’s the 2024 foodie guide.
Look for themed faire at Troubadour Tavern in Disneyland and Paradise Garden Grill in DCA. Paradise Garden Grill will have Coco inspired options.
And, starting May 10, six marketplaces will open at DCA featuring Pixar theming with each market representing a unique Pixar film.
Those include:
- Summertime dishes inspired by the Italian coast at Portorosso Pasta from “Luca”
- Reimagined classics at Gusteau’s To-Go, themed to “Ratatouille”
- A playful mélange of elements at The Elemental Table, inspired by “Elemental”
- Fun foods perfect for a tween, boy band (or anyone, really!) at 4*Town Fav*4*ites from “Turning Red”
- Feel-good foods that feed your soul at The Spark, inspired by “Soul”
- Flavors to appeal to all of your emotions at Hanger Management from “Inside Out.”
Note: There will NOT be a sip and savor pass for these booths.
