Breakfast with Santa at Naples Restaurant in Downtown Disney

Updated October 14, 2023

My family and I have enjoyed Breakfast with Santa at Catal Restaurant since 2016! I am a huge fan of this event and encourage you to consider it for your holiday visit to the Disneyland Resort.

Now it’s at Naples and should be equally enjoyable.

This is often a tough reservation to get, so consider securing your spot soon if you’re interested.

Check out what all you can expect and why I think this is worth the cost.

Basic Scoop

Photos From Our Experience

Note: The following photos are from 2018 at Catal Restaurant (it’s now held at Naples), but these photos will give you an overall feel for the event.

Tables are set in such a lovely way and the personalizing continues here.

Here is the menu. Bottomless mimosas are included! Now, we’re partying.

Holiday cocktails, bloody marys and more are available for purchase, too.

***This menu is from a previous year, but it gives you an idea of what you can expect.

Upon sitting, you’ll find a nice assortment to get everyone started.

Don’t miss the hot cocoa!

Inside each stocking, you’ll find activities and games to keep kids busy while dining. Or, they can take everything home to do later. (Contents of your stocking will vary from year to year.)

We brought our oldest, who was 15 at the time, and he devoured everything! Family style dining = a teenager’s dream come true.

Family style offerings:

Each guest receives a yogurt parfait, too.

Santa is absolutely delightful, showing attention to both young and old.

That’s my old husband. 🙂

Isn’t he dreamy?

Don’t be jealous of my dress. You can get one like it at Target this year, too. Each year seems to bring a new, even more ridiculous version.

And, because this event just keeps on giving, you’ll leave with cookies!

For you. Or Santa.

Your choice.

What You’ll Take Home

So, in summary, each child will leave with:

  • Plush animal
  • Milk and cookies
  • Personalized stocking filled with goodies
  • Printed photo

Final Thoughts

It’s rare to find an event that gets everything right, but this one does. I am consistently impressed with how they attend to every single detail.

The tickets may seem pricey, but when you consider all that goes into the event, it makes sense. A lovely meal by Catal, bottomless Mimosas, so many things for kids to take home, the Santa photo and……..above all else…….no standing in line to see Santa.

Solid. Gold.

Use this link to book your event and as always, let me know what questions you have.

Don’t have kids? No problem. Adults are welcome, too! Enjoy the lovely breakfast, take pictures with Santa and then leave with your Santa photo, milk and cookies. You don’t have to bring children to enjoy this event.

(The Patina Group invited my family to attend this event for the past five years free of charge, but all opinions are my own.)

  1. Ooh no this would of been amazing. We arrive at Disneyland for a few days from Dec 24th, amd have been looking for a special Xmas meal.
Is there anything else on Xmas Eve or Day ??

  2. Hi, just wondering how long the breakfast is? Thinking of booking it on the morning we leave but don’t want to be late getting to the airport! Also, my daughter would have just turned 11 so we would have to pay the adult price so does that mean she wouldn’t get a stocking or Bear?

    1. It takes about an hour – perhaps a bit more. Make a note of your daughter’s age when you book the meal and let them know you would still like for her to have a teddy bear since she just turned 11. I’m confident they’ll accommodate you.

  3. O.. M.. G.. at first I was like, “wow, so not worth that cost!” and then I read: “bottomless mimosas” … 😉 Along with everything else that is included – definitely sounds worth it! I wish this was going on while we will be there in the beginning of December! Bummed that it’s only weekends. Oh well, maybe next year!

  4. We went today based on this review and I was so excited about it going in. I read your facebook post from yesterday and I think my expectations were too high. I wonder if it’s because we had one of the later seatings. They ran out of cookies while we were there so the kids didn’t get to take that on their way out which wouldn’t have been an issue if people hadn’t told them several times to get cookies and milk on the way out. My little ones stockings weren’t full of the goodies you posted a picture of yesterday. Each one only contained the mini coloring pages and crayons. Our family of four was seated near the bar area and everyone who came after us was seated in the main dining area so I think our table was kind of forgotten about. Santa just passed by, the carolers weren’t walking around the bar area and my drinks were never refilled. It definitely looked like more fun in the main dining area. It was just a little disappointing for the price and after seeing other people post about their great experiences there.

    1. I’m so sorry, KAT! I haven’t heard of any issues such as the ones you encountered. Everyone that I have heard from loved it as much as I did. Maybe more! I was seated in the bar area, too, and had great service.

I feel terrible that you didn’t have a good experience. If you have a moment, please email me at Casey@DisneylandDaily.com. I would love to send your family a treat from the park.

      Happy New Year!

  5. We’re hoping to grab a last minute reservation this year (or worse case book early for next year) our kiddos are 7, 9, & 11 do you think our oldest would be able to receive the kid perks despite us paying an adult price for her?

    1. Sorry I missed this, CeiCei. Both of your kids should have received the kid perks, regardless of their ages, as long as you listed details requesting such when you make your reservation. They seem to be very accommodating with such things. I hope you had a lovely holiday season!

  6. Just booked our reservation for the 10th but didn’t realize I had to add to children’s names in the comments, is there any way of giving them that Information? Thanks! Wendy

  7. i have a party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers, one of which won’t turn 3 until february which puts her in infant category. does that mean she won’t get the bear gift set since she’s free?

  8. I see the dress at target. And we are all getting one! I think it’s Jr so I would need xxl lol how was the sizing? Thanks so much for posting. So excited.

  9. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!! In your opinion, what is the best time to make reservations to maximize time in the parkas well? I’m looking at Thursday, December 21st. Thanks!

    1. Hi, Meredith!

I would aim for noon. If you can use this as a “brunch”, you’ll be able to do so much in the parks during early hours and then break just in time for when kids usually start to fall apart. The food is plentiful, too, so it can certainly work as a mid-day meal and everyone will be satisfied. It’s SO MUCH FUN!!!!! I hope you love it.

  10. Thank you SO much for this post!! My family has decided we are going to do a Christmas trip this year instead of a Halloween trip. It was a hard pill for me to swallow – missing the excitement of MHP, but I am SUCKER for Christmastime and while I’ve seen DL during the holidays, my kids have not. I want to make this trip so, so special and this breakfast with Santa sounds SO FUN. I just booked our reservation for Dec 17th at 11:00am. Figure we’ll go into the parks early and this will be a nice thing to do once the crowds start getting thicker. Is there any sort of ginerbread decorating event/station anywhere at the resort, do you know? Thanks again for everything!!
