I’ve done the important work, folks.
I put in the hours, searching high and low for the best breakfast burritos.
It was worth it!
Let’s take a look.

General Breakfast Info
I arrive early most days I visit, about twice a week, so reviewing breakfast spots makes sense.
I found the best in both parks and Downtown Disney and am still going!
Check out what you can expect to find in each park here:

First place – Breakfast Burrito, Craftsman Grill
Breakfast Burrito
“Eggs, Bacon, Potato, Pico de Gallo and Shredded Cheese in a Flour Tortilla with Salsa Roja and Sour Cream”
- Location: Craftsman Grill (quick service) at the Grand Californian Hotel
- Cost: $16
- Mobile Ordering: yes
- Discounts: Magic Key
- Why I like it: This burrito has the best ingredients and taste all around. I also like that you can get it early and outside of the parks. This location has a Coke freestyle machine, so you can get all sorts of drinks, too. One more thing! They serve their food on actual plates, instead of paper. Small detail, but I like it. This is the premier hotel at the Disneyland Resort, so everything is top notch. Also! This location opens before 7am most days, so you can grab this one and still make rope drop.

Second place – Loco Moco Burrito, Tangaroa Terrace
Loco Moco Burrito
“Steamed Jasmine Rice, Chopped Wagyu Beef Patty, Fried Egg, Gravy, Crunchy Fried Shallots and Furikake, served with Salsa Roja”
- Location: Tangaroa Terrace (quick service) at the Disneyland Hotel
- Cost: $17
- Mobile Ordering: yes
- Discounts: Magic Key
- Why I like it: My goodness this is tasty! The egg was delicious and everything worked together beautifully. I will ask for a side of gravy next time, as I’ve learned traditional Loco Moco dishes have more of it.

Third place – Carne Asada Breakfast Burrito, Tiendita
Carne Asada Breakfast Burrito
“Flour Tortilla, Scrambled eggs, sirloin, mexican cheese blend, and black beans puree”
- Location: Tiendita (quick service) in Downtown Disney
- Cost: $12
- Mobile Ordering: no
- Discounts: Magic Key
- Why I like it: The best tortillas, hands down! A Michelin star chef overseas this restaurant and you can tell. The quality of ingredients is fantastic and the flavors are amazing.

Other Considerations
- American Breakfast Burrito – Galactic Grill, Disneyland (video)
- Carne Asada Burrito – Cappuccino Cart, California Adventure (video)
- Classic Breakfast Burrito – Smokejumpers Grill, California Adventure (video)
- Plant based Chorizo Breakfast Burrito – Smokejumpers Grill (video)

- Plant based Soy Chorizo Country Breakfast Burrito – Galactic Grill (video)
Not mentioned: The fabulous Chimichanga in Frontierland is another breakfast favorite, but it’s not technically a burrito like the others (it’s fried), so I left it off the list. Here’s a video of this delicacy. And here’s the vegetarian version of it.

Is there a time they stop selling these breakfast burritos? We will be getting into Downtown Disney late morning our first day.
Hi! 10:30am or 11:00am is the cut off for most Disneyland Resort restaurants to stop serving breakfast.
Thank you!
Anytime Brett!
Breakfast burritos are such a great way to start the day! We always share as they’re all so hearty! Have you tried the breakfast shwarma yet? Curious how it ranks and photos!
I liked it! Didn’t love it. Seemed pricey for what it was. I share about it in this post with a link to the Instagram reel:
