I love breakfast in the park. Check out Disneyland’s options in this post. Downtown Disney? Go here.

DCA is a great place to be in the morning. Follow one of my park strategies here and then pause for breakfast around 10am.

Here are some ideas on where to go….

Breakfast Burrito Options

• Smokejumpers Grill – filling burrito served with fries
• Shawarma Palace – breakfast shawarmas including the Denver Breakfast Shawarma at Shawarma Palace
  (Scrambled eggs, potatoes, ham, cheddar cheese, and bell peppers served with spicy ketchup)
• Cappuccino Cart – carne asada or spiced ham musubi burritos (carne asada steak burrito is back as of early May 2025!) Note: This “cart” is easy to miss. Find it diagonal from Little Mermaid, just before you cross the bridge to Pixar Pier.

The Disneyland Resort has some excellent options for breakfast burritos. Find all of your options inside DCA and out – with the top 3 ranked – in this post.

Other Options

• Pym Test Kitchen – creative versions of classic plates like eggs/bacon or French toast; really enjoyed this traditional plate; Try the giant French toast! Or try the kids berry French toast. They’d all good! I love this place. Just tried the Chilaquiles and it was the best counter service meal I’ve had this year!
• Smokejumpers Grill – super tasty breakfast sandwich (love the chiles!)
• Schmoozies – Nutella waffles; Here’s the yummy hazelnut version!
• Empanada Cart – breakfast empanadas
• Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe – this is the Starbucks of the park
• Lamplight Lounge – full brunch options if you can wait until 11:30am
