There aren’t many places that get everything right. Food, ambiance, service, etc….there’s a lot that can go wrong.

Wine Bar George is one of the places that gets it allllllllllllll right.

Wine Bar George is located inside Disney Springs, the dining and shopping district at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

When to Dine & Where to Sit

First, reservations are highly recommended. Use OpenTable.com or the My Disney Experience app to book your table. You can try the day of, but it’s much better to grab your spot early.

I like to dine at sunset, as many of the tables (inside and outside) have a view of Disney Springs. It’s fun to watch everyone come and go.

My favorite table is shown in the photo, below. It’s the one with the drinks. 😉 This spot gives you a partial view of outside and then of the restaurant, too. Look for George, himself, running dishes out to guests from the kitchen!

Favorites from Wine Bar George include:

• Small Plates – Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites; Saganaki on Fire (eat this quickly after it melts, as it hardens the longer it sits)
• Family Style Plates – Skirt Steak (serves 2-4)
• Boards – The Big Board (pictured, below)
