Courtyard Marriott Main Entrance

Updated September 4, 2022

Our stay at the Courtyard Marriott Main Entrance at Disneyland was fantastic!

I recommend this hotel again and again and never have anything but great responses from those who stay here.

Let’s take a look at why.

Hotel Details

This hotel is well known for its water park and customer service. The water park is much more than a splash pad and will keep kids busy in between park visits.

The service was excellent. The location is good – about a 10 minute walk to the Main Entrance on Harbor Blvd. (Many people consider this hotel to be closer than that, but I always accommodate for strollers, busy toddlers, and the sometimes long wait at the traffic light.)

Look for bunkbeds and spacious rooms, too.

Check out this link for more details about this hotel.

Other info:

Parking – $20 valet; no self parking

Breakfast – available onsite, but not free; Mimi’s Cafe is also located nearby

What I Liked

This hotel is one of the best off-site options I have found since starting my site a few years ago. I loved seeing how much my kids enjoyed it.

A few of my own favorite parts were:

  • separate bathtub and shower
  • updated and well decorated rooms
  • Starbucks on-site (in The Bistro in the lobby)
  • customer service

What My Kids Liked

I took along my 9 and 11 year old to review this hotel.

They loved:

  • the water park
  • bunk beds
  • the mural in the room
  • tv that allowed Netflix and YouTube
  • gift shop in the main lobby

Photos

Let’s look at some photos!

The entrance is nice.

The water park.

Notice Space Mountain peeking from behind.

There’s a shallow, 1 foot pool perfect for toddlers.

The lobby.

The market is open 24 hours. So convenient.

The gift shop.

And, our room.

Not found in most off-site hotels: a separate shower and bathtub. Great feature at this hotel.

The rooms are beautifully designed. That huge mural looks even cooler in person. Bunkbeds accommodate kids in a fun way while saving space.

The rooms are up to date and nicely appointed.

Great seating option for working, dining, or playing.

  1. Hi Casey,

Does The ART Bus run near this hotel. I have knee problems and the walking in the parks is going to do a number on them. It would be easier to take the ART bus if we could. I love that this hotel has a separate shower and tub. Do they have the separate shower in the double queen rooms with the bunk beds? I know a lot of hotels only have them in the king rooms. I have some balance problems so the walk-in shower would really help. Thanks so much.

  2. We stayed here in October of last year and really enjoyed it! My kids loved the water park and the walk to the park was so close. We tried to book a room here for this October and it was booked ๐Ÿ™

  3. We stayed here the first week of August 2017 and it was a great hotel. The property was clean and the staff was very friendly. The housekeepers were amazing as well. Our kids loved the water park area, and the Netflix as well. It was really close to the park entrances, and we could see the fireworks from our hotel window on the nights we were not in the park to see them. Would stay there for sure again!
