This is one of my favorites!
Boathouse is usually my first stop during my trips to Walt Disney World.
Find menus, hours and more at this link.
I love this restaurant because it’s always full of happy energy. The food is good. Cocktails are yummy. Service is absolutely the best. And, the ambiance is just right for a Disney vacation.
I recommend it!
Basic Info
- Find Boathouse in Disney Springs, which is the shopping and dining district at Walt Disney World. This link shares everything you need to know about it.
- Menus, hours, and more are all located here.
- Make sure to make a reservation on the WDW My Disney Experience app. If you don’t see any availability on the Disney app, check Open Table.
Lunch and Dinner
I’ve enjoyed both lunch and dinner several times at Boathouse. Their menu is well designed with something for every guest.
My favorites include:
- Firecracker Shrimp
- The Wedge Salad (I order this more than anything else. But with Ranch!)
- Shrimp and Andouille Mac’N Cheese
Check out their menu here.
Brunch
Here’s the scoop:
- Held on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00am
- Live dueling pianos will entertain guests from 11:00am-2:00pm
Here’s the Brunch Menu:
I attended a media event at Boathouse in early February, which allowed us to sample pretty much everything on the menu. There are soooooo many good options.
The favorite for most of us at our table was the Fried Chicken Biscuit and Gravy. It’s absolutely divine.
Look at this yumminess.
Shrimp and Grits is a close runner up. It’s also fantastic.
Every single dish we tried was good, including the Smoked Salmon Bagel.
Amphicars
Before or after dining, consider a trip on one of the famous Boathouse Amphicars.
Here’s the scoop directly from The Boathouse:
“The BOATHOUSE® is the only place in the world that offers the unforgettable & thrilling experience of a Captain’s Guided Tour in a vintage Amphicar. These rare cars drive on land and enter the water with a splash, taking you on a Captain Guided, 25-minute tour of the landmarks of Disney Springs.
“Our fleet of Amphicars were purchased from private collections worldwide – there were less than 4,000 of these unique amphibious vehicles produced during the 1960’s. Less than 400 exist worldwide today.”
Only place in the world!
Tours run from around 10:00am to 10:00pm, weather permitting. It costs $125 for a tour. Up to 3 people can ride in the vehicle with the Captain, who will drive. (I really wanted to drive, but our guy wouldn’t budge.)
Here’s a way you can save on your tour:
Receive a $25 Reward toward an Amphicar Tour with a Boathouse Restaurant or BOATIQUE purchase of $50 or more. Bring your receipt into the BOATIQUE to take advantage of this special offer!
Make your Amphicar reservation at Boatique, the shop adjacent to The Boathouse. This link has more info.
We ate here for the first time a year ago and loved it. The mac and cheese was awesome! It was my pre-marathon meal and I had a great race so I think it worked 😉 Brunch is now at the top of my list for next trip. I’ve got my eye on those shrimp and grits!
The Shrimp and Grits! So so good. Enjoy it all.
