Pearls in the Park – A DLR Prep School Mixer

Updated March 6, 2020

I’m throwing a party! And, I know how to party. Come join me.

Pearls in the Park will be held in the Rose Garden at the Disneyland Hotel on April 29, 2016 at 7:30pm.

Let’s go over some details:

What You Can Purchase

Party Tickets

Tickets for this event are $45 each. This includes your entrance into the party, heavy apps, photography, and a goody bag. You may only purchase party tickets until we reach our limit, so act fast! Tickets are available to those 21 years old and up and a cash bar will be available for cocktails.

Hotel Rooms

Discounted hotel rooms at the Disneyland Hotel can be purchased for $244 plus tax/night. This is a great savings! ***People who commit to at least one night in our room block at the Disneyland Hotel are guaranteed the opportunity to purchase party tickets.

The Whole Package

Don’t want to piece it all together? Contact Key to the World Travel and let them take care of everything at no additional cost to you.

What You Can Expect

DLR Prep School and Key to the World Travel like to have fun. We’re nearly experts at it! Put on your party best and come join us for a night under the stars with food, music, a cash bar and giveaways. The Rose Garden is located at the Disneyland Hotel and is adjacent to Trader Sams. We LOVE this location and can’t wait to share it with you.

We’ll be in town all weekend and plan to visit the parks often. Spend the weekend with us! Discounted hotel rooms make this easy.

My favorite theme park photographer, Jaana, will be on site to take party pics. With your party ticket purchase, you’ll receive a voucher for one free photo and then you’ll have the opportunity to purchase more, too.

What You Could Win

We have many generous sponsors who have donated some fabulous prizes. Take a look at what you could win simply by attending the party.

Mini Theme Park Photography Session

Photography by Jaana is providing a SoCal Select Theme Park Session. Her work is absolutely amazing! This one hour session is detailed on her website and the value is $375.

Custom Made Damsel Duds Skirt

Damsel Duds makes the most darling skirts. I absolutely adore them! One custom made skirt will be given away at the party, valued at around $45. Check out her site for all the color combos available.

TPC - Deluxe Dresses

Custom Made Pauper’s Castle Child’s Princess Dress

The Pauper’s Castle makes two varieties of children’s dresses. The $100 gift certificate can be applied to her cotton comfy line or her upscale fancy line. Visit her site to see what all she can do.

Candles with Character Candle Basket

Lyn knows Disneyland and has put her heart and soul into creating candles that mimic the scents you’ll find in Disney parks. Three Candles with Character gift baskets including candles and bath products will be included in the giveaway, valued at approximately $100.

City Single Mini Stroller

I’m always proud to recommend City Stroller Rentals to those headed to Disneyland. They provide the best products and services. And, they’ve provided me with a City Single Mini Stroller to giveaway (the actual new stroller – not a rental), valued at $249.

Lansky Enterprises Transportation Gift Certificates

Lansky has generously donated 3 gift certificates:

1 qty $200 gift certificate

2 qty $155 gift certificates

All three of these can be put towards a single or round trip ride to and from Disneyland from neighboring airports. Can’t say enough good about this company. Definitely consider them for your next visit to Disneyland.

Rais Case

So many of you ask what kind of bags I carry in the park. I have three Rais Case bags that I adore and use them constantly. Every detail of their bags is meticulously crafted. I highly recommend you invest in one. A Vida Bag, which can be used around your waist, as a cross body or clutch is up for grabs, valued at $165.

  1. I’M.SO.EXCITED!!! I honestly need this to start NOW!!!

Is there a time frame for the party? Like how late into the night it goes? I don’t wanna miss anything so am trying to plan my night! It’s the only time I can be at Disneyland during the 60th so am squeezing in everything I can that weekend haha. Thanks this is going to be great I can’t wait to meet some new people!

Honestly though is it April yet!?!? <3 <3 <3

  2. I’m going to try my best to change work shifts so I can make the party! However, I’m not 100% sure I will be able to…I’m guessing the special DLH rate is only for people who’s name is on the party registration list?

  3. Hi Casey,

Is it possible to bring my 11 month old son with me to this event? I promise not to be “that mom” who does nothing with a crying baby (I will politely excuse myself as to not disturb anyone else).

Also, if I buy a ticket for the Mixer, does that mean I can take advantage of the entire blocked off special pricing for DLH? I might turn it into a week long birthday present to myself!

  4. Trying to work out whether I can attend or not – we are already staying at DLH that weekend, but it’s me and my 13 yr old daughter. If she is with me can I buy a ticket for her as well, or does she have to be over 21? (Obviously she wouldn’t be drinking!)

    • Veronica, she is welcome to come, too. Kids do need a ticket to enter the party because there will be lots of food and prizes. Cute goody bags, too. I bet she would love what’s in them! Join us!

  5. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to attend the party on Fri night (working on it!!) but can I still use the DLH hotel link?

    Thanks, looks super fun!

  6. I’m so sad…was just about to purchase my party ticket and decided I’d better check my calendar! Unfortunately, I have an 80th birthday dinner for my sister-in-law’s mother to attend that same night…boohoo! I hope you’ll do this again, Casey!!!

  7. Are there any ladies out there who will be attending by themselves…? I’m planning on going… but my only friends who would be into this won’t get off of work in time… I’m just trying to work up the courage to show up to a party alone 🙂
