Mobile Ordering at Disney Parks

Updated February 23, 2025

Mobile Ordering will change your Disney Park and Resort experience in huge ways.

Knowing how to use this tool is now more important than ever, as Disneyland and Walt Disney World reopen.

Let’s see what all the fuss is about.

Basic Scoop

Mobile Ordering allows guests to use their Disneyland app to order and pay for food/drinks while in the parks and resorts.

This tool is free and available to all park guests.

I encourage you to become familiar with this system prior to your visit. It’s so convenient and easy to use.

How to Order Food with Mobile Order

Here’s the process to order

  • Open the Disneyland app. (Be sure you have the most updated version of the Disneyland app loaded on your mobile device. Here’s where to find the app if you don’t already have it.)
  • Click on the “+” at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click on “Order Food”.
  • Select the arrival window for the location you want to purchase food from.
  • Build your order.
  • Review your order on the summary page that comes next.
  • “Purchase” your order! (An email with your receipt will be sent to the email address attached to your Disneyland account.)

How the Pick Up Process Works

  • When you arrive at the dining location, during your arrival window, click on, “I’m Here, Prepare My Order”. Watch the app for your order’s status.
  • Pick up your order as soon as the app tells you it’s time.

Notes

  • If you’re set on a certain treat or food item and fear it might sell out before you can get there, mobile order it in the morning. They’ll hold your item until your return window. We do this often for the Raspberry Macarons at Jolly Holiday.

  1. If you have park hopper tickets can you mobile order in the morning for the park you will be visiting in the afternoon? Our last visit to DL I wanted the Jolly Holiday macaron at the end of a long DL day and of course they sold out 🙁
We are visiting in November and have Park Hopper tickets but are starting our day at DCA. Could I order the macarons in the am from DCA? Do they sell the macarons in DCA or is Jolly Holiday the only location?

  2. Thanks Casey!
I have heard to “order” food for lunch at the beginning of the day. Are the wait times that long that this is a good strategy? Thanks!
