Looking for an alternative to grabbing a candy cane at Disneyland?
I have an option for you!
Let’s dive in.

Basic Scoop
The Disneyland Candy Cane run is no easy feat and when I posted about it recently, several people suggested I try out Logan’s Candies for a comparable candy cane without the drama.
So off I went!
This candy shop is so adorably lost in time and the staff couldn’t be nicer. I was inside for about 20 minutes and 3 different ladies asked me if I needed help. They were all so genuinely friendly.
Logan’s has been making candy since 1933 and is located about 45 minutes from Disneyland at:
125 W B Street
Ontario, CA 91762
Here’s their website with more info.
And here’s a quick reel showing the shop.
Some people fly into the small airport in Ontario, so a stop at Logan’s works even better for those travelers.

Logan’s Candies History
Per their website:
“The Logan family first opened their small candy shop in 1933 in Downtown, Ontario California. The shop began out on Euclid Avenue next to the historic Granda Theatre and then moved to its current location on B street in 1953. Jerry Rowley, the shops current owner, started working seasonally at Logan’s at the young age of 12 and continued to work under 3 different owners learning the trade of candy making. At the age of 19, Jerry & his wife, Susi Rowley, took over the store in 1982 and have been running the shop ever since! Now, the family has now owned the store for over 40 years!
Logan’s carries over 600 different candy items, ranging from retro candy bars to gummy and sour candies. Over 200 of those candies are made in house, by hand including all of our chocolates, fudges, candy canes, ribbon candies, pillow mints, peanut brittle, caramel apples & more!”

How the Candy Canes Compare
They’re just as good as Disneyland’s! These old candy shops know what they’re doing and Logan’s is no exception.
The price is about the same, too. I found a comparable sized cane for $25. Disneyland sells theirs this year for $23.99.

You Can Bend Your Own Candy Cane!
Check the website for details and to reserve your spot. I haven’t done it, but hope to be back to do this soon:

Find Your Own Candy Shop
I have always loved candy shops. When we lived in Denver, we visited Hammond’s Candy Factory to see how candy canes are made.
There are hidden gems like this all over the country and we seek them out whenever we travel. Every town has a candy shop. I encourage you to find one in your area. Someone is making candy canes!
