Shannon Laskey from Going to Guides creates the most adorable books for Disney Parks. And, I recently worked as a contributor on the 4th edition for Disneyland!
For maximum value, buy this book when you’re planning your trip. It’s packed with info to help you understand the parks, it can be used during your trip, and then after, too, for collecting memories.

If you’ve always wanted to visit Walt’s Garage, this is a good time to do it! Shannon and other Disney fans are gathering for a get together on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 3:30pm – 6:30pm. You’ll find crafts, games, sweet treats, a raffle and a Mini Market where 5 of the artists from the book will have merch for Disneyland fans. You can purchase the book there, too, if you don’t do so before – or pre-order the book for pick up at the party.

I am so happy to see this review because I wish more people knew about Shannon’s incredible book(s). I’ve planned over 20 trips for our family and this book still gives me so many great ideas and inspiration! Besides all the great planning tips, the beautiful artistry alone is worth the purchase!
