MagicBand+ Interactions for the 70th Celebration

MagicBand+ now unlocks new fun features around Disneyland, with nods to opening day.

I’ve found them all.

The Scoop

When you see the machines I share below in the park, scan your MagicBand+.

There are 5 machines:

• Fantasyland
• Tomorrowland
• Frontierland
• Adventureland
• Main Street

A few notes:

• Four machines include small souvenir cards.
• Some stops include multiple machines. You can get a card from each machine.
• Only one card (ticket) will be distributed per day, per MagicBand+ machine.
• Any MagicBand+ will work. It doesn’t have to be one of the new “70” designs. If you have one from a previous trip – even to Walt Disney World – it will work. Here’s more about MagicBands and how they can add to your park experience.

Where to Locate the MagicBand+ machines

I searched “MagicBand” in the app and then clicked on “Special MagicBand+ Interactions During the 70th Celebration – Starting May 16, 2025”.

This map appeared:

Frontierland

• Find it to the right of Pioneer Mercantile and to the left of Golden Horseshoe, close to where the Halloween Tree goes each year.
• Includes souvenir card

Here’s what this spot looks like:

Adventureland

• Find it between Jungle Cruise and Indiana Jones Adventure, tucked back a bit.
• Includes souvenir card
• What’s unique about this spot: Notice the lockers that surround this scanner. There are 5 “teams” featured. When cast members become Jungle Cruise skippers, they are all assigned to one of these teams. There are 5 different cards at this spot, all representing those teams. This video better explains it.

Here they are too:

Fantasyland

• Find it in the small tunnel that leads from Fantasyland toward Fantasy Faire, where you meet the princesses.
• This one does not include a souvenir card.
• Wait until all the lights are lit up to scan your band. (Took me forever to figure this out)

Main Street

• Tilly has it! Find this one at the Main Street Cinema.
• A souvenir card is included.
