Greetings, friends!
We’re planning again. And, this next party is going to be amazing! PITP 2016 was such a fun time. We can’t wait to make 2017 bigger and better.
Let’s get started on the details.
In this article
What is Pearls in the Park?
This party was created for the readers of Disneyland Daily. After watching our online community grow, we knew we had to get everyone together. Best place to do that? Disneyland!
So, we made up a party. Just like that.
We worked with Disney to secure some awesome hotel rates. And, we asked some of our favorite advertisers and Disneyland Daily friends if they wanted to support the party. They all said yes!
So, after a fun 2016 event, we’re in the midst of planning 2017.
When and Where is the Party?
The party is hosted in the Rose Court Garden at the Disneyland Hotel (pictured above). We’ll get together on May 5, 2017 at 6:30pm. Guests will arrive before, if interested, to enjoy the parks and stay after, too. Hotel rooms at deep discounts are available for several dates on and around May 5.
What Can I Expect at the Party?
Look forward to heavy appetizers catered by Disney, a cash bar, professional photography, music, photo ops, goody bags and many fabulous prizes to giveaway.
How Do I Buy a Party Ticket?
Tickets are $55 a person and include your entrance into the party, food, entertainment, the chance to win giveaway prizes, and a goody bag.
Tickets may be purchased by visiting this link. (no longer available)
How Do I Book A Hotel Room?
Rooms at the Disneyland Hotel are available for $244 a night. You may purchase nights on, before and after the party. After you purchase your ticket(s) from the link above, you’ll be sent a follow up email with a link to secure your hotel room(s).
We have limited, varied availability on each of these dates and these rooms will sell out, so book quickly if you’re interested.
Hotel rooms are available on the following dates:
May 3, 2017
May 4, 2017
May 5, 2017 (party night)
May 6, 2017
May 7, 2017
What Can I Win at the Party?
***Mini Theme Park Photo Session
Photography by Jaana is providing a SoCal Select Theme Park Session. Her work is absolutely amazing! She photographed PITP 2016 and took some really fun photographs. This one hour session to be given away is detailed on her website and the value is $375.
***Lansky Enterprises Transportation Gift Certificates
Lansky has generously donated 3 gift certificates:
1 qty $200 gift certificate
2 qty $155 gift certificates
All three of these can be put towards a single or round trip ride to and from Disneyland from neighboring airports. Can’t say enough good about this company. Definitely consider them for your next visit to Disneyland.
***Custom Made Skirt by Damsel Duds
Damsel Duds makes the most darling skirts. I absolutely adore them! One custom made skirt will be given away at the party, valued at around $45. Check out her site for all the color combos available.
***Gift Certificate from The Pauper’s Castle
The Pauper’s Castle makes a variety of dresses for both children and adults. The $100 gift certificate can be applied to any of her collections. Visit her site to see what all she can do.
***Gift Certificate from Bitts and Pieces
You’ll find comfy, casual t-shirt dresses from Bitts and Pieces and they’re adorable. The $100 gift certificate can be applied to any items in her shop.

The Vida Mini Bag, valued at $145, is versatile, as it can be used as a clutch, cross body, or fanny pack – all perfect for days at Disneyland. Rais Case makes the most beautifully crafted bags, with the finest materials, which have been sold in Anthropologie and other high end retailers.
Matador Pocket Blanket
Few people read a strategy of mine for parades or fireworks without finding me recommend the Matador Blanket. It’s so nice to have in the parks and folds up to fit in your pocket. Matador is giving away a Pocket Blanket.
Disneyland Resort Images Framed Photography
Win one of two 24″x36″ framed photographs taken by the super talented Eddison of Disneyland Resort Images. Each is valued around $150 each.
What’s in My Goody Bag?
We want to keep some things a surprise, but certainly want to recognize – and thank – the important sponsors that contribute to our goody bags. These are not like the bags you left elementary parties with. 🙂
Here are the sponsors contributing thus far, but you’ll have to wait to see just what they’re up to (and what else we add to this list):
Candles with Character by Dearly Loved
What Else Do I Need to Know?
Pearls in the Park is open to adults and children, although the party is primarily focused on adults. Most people wear cocktail attire (dresses, pants, ties, etc). While we won’t have entertainment specifically for children, if you enjoy taking your child to the theatre or such for a special occasion, this might be a similar opportunity. Those are my kids, pictured above, and they enjoyed the evening among adults.
Children attending the party must buy a party ticket, even though they’ll likely eat less than an adult attending. Children still can enjoy the entertainment, food, have a chance at winning prizes and will also leave with a goody bag.
The cost of parking is not included in the party ticket.
The cost of the party ticket does not include entrance to Disneyland or California Adventure. If you book a room in our room block, you will be emailed information regarding discounted theme park tickets once they become available.
We are hoping to arrange for a meet-up in the parks so that we can take a group photo in front of the castle on a park day most PITP guests can attend. More information will be provided on that at a later time.
Please use the hashtag #PearlsInThePark2017 when posting about this event. Love to see what everyone is doing!
As always, email me with questions!
Is there a Facebook group for ticket holders for pearls in the park? I thought I read that somewhere? Also any update on group photo?? Can’t wait!
Awww. So close. I’m a new follower of yours and your site has been a great help in planning my family’s FIRST Disney Vacation. It will be my children’s and my husband’s first time and I have not been to a Disney park in over 15 years. SOOO much has changed and its the first time I’m the mom planning everything. We are actually going to be taking our vacation April 30th- 4th. We are leaving the day you are having your party. T_T It would have been fun to go and meet other Disney fans my age..lol. I hope you have fun and maybe we might see you around.
Hey, Dorothy.
I’m sorry our timing didn’t line up! I’ll be in the parks on the 3rd and 4th, so hopefully I’ll see you!
Looks like so much fun!
