Club 33 at Disneyland

Updated May 9, 2022

I try to never write about or share information on experiences at Disneyland that are not available to everyone.

However, many of you have asked about Club 33.

Here’s a quick summary of what it’s all about.

And, below, you can find what I know and what I’ve been lucky enough to be part of.

Come see!

Basic Scoop

Club 33 is a super exclusive club located in the heart of New Orleans Square inside Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It’s only open to members and membership is no joke. It takes forever to join and it’s out of most guests’ budgets.

Including mine.

I have a dear friend who allows me to tag along sometimes and I never enter or leave without knowing how lucky I am to be there.

Check out what Wikipedia has on the club. There is no official website hosted by Disneyland that shares info on the club. You can’t register to join online. It’s all very secretive and exclusive and way out of my reach.

My Visits

Take a look at my first visit. It was everything I had hoped it would be and more.

I don’t post often on my visits to the club, but I do share peeks at it on Instagram. Find me there to keep up.

In 2017, the club celebrated its 50th anniversary. During the celebration, members (plus one) were invited to take several tours around the Disneyland Resort.

Take a look at a few of those:

The tours are not open to the public. Again, I’m just extremely lucky to be able to tag along.

1901

California Adventure houses Club 33’s more casual version, called 1901. It’s located in the Carthay Circle Restaurant and is also only open to Club 33 members.

It’s more laid back than the Disneyland location, but still totally luxurious with fantastic service.

Check out my first visit there.

So much fun!

Notes

  • The photos I shared above, along with those in the posts I linked, were taken only after asking permission. (From both the club member and a Club 33 Cast Member at each event.) I don’t like breaking the rules, and even more important, I wouldn’t put my friend’s membership at risk. So, don’t panic when you see some places rarely photographed.
  • Unlike WDW’s Club 33 lounges, photos are allowed here in Anaheim (except for in the bathrooms). Video is strictly forbidden in all parts of the club.

  1. I have a nurse friend, I used to work with, her family is from Orange County, her father was a cardiologist in the area, and was Walt Disney’s doctor. Walt gifted her father a Club 33 membership, all those years ago. They still keep it to this day. She’s offered my family and I a reservation 4 years ago, I just couldn’t afford to go. I still kick myself for not doing it!!!
